Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who:
- hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or
- CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Students enrolling into the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care must also agree to meet the following requirements:
- obtain and provide a valid and current working with children check (DHS) - Department of Human Services
- undertake and successfully complete 280 work placement/assessment hours with a Time approved/provided work placement within an appropriate regulated education and care service (e.g: long-day care, child care centre)
