Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so they work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other staff.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Age: 18 years +
- LLN skills that allow them to read and interpret work place documents including legislation, policies and procedures, reports, official information, plans,
- Have an aptitude and an interest to enter and work in the early child care industry at a supervisory level SMTB Preferred Entry Pathways
- Previous training at a certificate level in Early Child Care and Education would be an advantage
- Previous work experience in Early Child Care and Education would be preferable
