Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring curriculum in early childhood education and care services, with an emphasis on play-based learning.

You will learn to be a lead educator, who implements an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standards.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
You must provide evidence of completion of the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or CHC30113), be at least 18 years old, provide a current Working with Children Check and obtain a police check. Additional requirements may apply.
