Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification will enable you to become an early childhood educator, who contributes to planning for and providing educational experiences and care for infants, young children and school aged children. Educators are supported to use organisational policies, procedures and individual children's profiles to plan educational experiences and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play, and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes. This qualification supports understanding and implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and/or the My Time Our Place Framework and develops knowledge of the National Quality Framework.

Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who:
- Hold a CHC3021 Certificate III in Early Childhood and Care; OR
- A CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood and Care.

- VIC Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the VIC Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
- NSW Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
