Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. It is the qualification for those wishing to lead an education and care program for children before they enter formal schooling.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Prospective students:
- Should be at least 18 years old for courses involving practical placement
- hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or
- CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
