Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is delivered face to face or blended learning which includes 15 units of study and 280 hours of work placement. If you are not already working within the Industry, Educare College will assist you with work placement in an approved childcare centre.
Our training has been designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to become a carer within the early childhood education and care industry and to follow an individualised plan which is tailored to provide care and support to children.
Delivery mode
Educare College offers this course through the following delivery modes:
On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Literacy and numeracy Test
Be Covid 19 Vaccinated (required to complete vocational work placement)
It’s preferred that students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent. Students will be required to provide a current National Police Certificate and BLUE Card prior to commencing work placement.
