Diploma in Information Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Our Diploma of Information Technology is designed in collaboration with industry to provide you with the knowledge required to get started in the ICT sector. You can graduate with this standalone qualification or use it as a pathway into further study in a bachelor’s degree.
Upon completion, you will be equipped with foundational knowledge in topics such as computer hardware and software, networking and programming, website development and cloud computing. By the end of this course, you will have gained a thorough introduction to IT professional practice.
This course has been co-developed with industry-leading ICT practitioners and academics, and is structured to align with the guidelines of the Australian Computer Society.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Before you begin your course application, check that you meet the requirements listed below.
- Year 12 (Australian secondary school certificate) or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above
- Successful completion of a Higher Education qualification
- Work life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level.
