SHBBMUP010 Design and apply make-up for photography course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to empower you to design and apply make-up for photographic shoots in natural and artificial light. This course will give you the ability to select products and tools to apply photographic make-up in response to a brief from a client or stylist engaged in a photo shoot for various occasions:

  • Weddings
  • Fashion
  • Business
  • Runway
  • Film

You will learn:

  • The Fundamentals - Core photography concepts to understand before you get started
  • The different types of lighting
  • Modifying your light to compliment the makeup and vice versa
  • The synergy between your makeup and the photography lighting
  • How lighting effects, the look of the texture of the skin
  • Highlighting and contouring with light
  • Understanding how to use reflectors & gels
  • Camera settings and lighting set ups to help get you started including her magic formula for taking beautiful beauty photos!
  • Outline of Products and tools needed to get you started
