Course in Workplace Spotting for Service Assets
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)It is vital that people, plant and equipment are kept a "safe distances", when working in and around Overhead or Underground Service Assets.
This course provides individuals with an opportunity to receive through training, the knowledge and skills needed to guide people, plant and equipment to safe working distances and not to enter established No Go Zones.
To work as a "No Go Zone" spotter you must complete this unit of competency and establish a basic level of competency to be registered with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV).

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students must present photo identification to validate their identity, and are required to hold a current First Aid certificate HLTAID011 and CPR certificate HLTAID009, prior to being eligable to commence training as a NGZ Spotter.
Basic Reading, Writing and Mathematical skills are required.
