Course in Introduction to the National Disability Insurance Scheme
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is suitable for current and future staff of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) who will be working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its programs.
Gain a broad overview of the NDIS initiative, an understanding of the NDIS Act and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and learn how to work effectively with people who access the scheme.
You’ll expand on your existing skills to support NDIS participants in achieving their set goals, maintaining personal safety, completing documentation, and working effectively with others. Plus enhance your listening, communication and support skills.
