The Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Risk is designed to help community service workers provide an initial response to the family violence risk they encounter.

If family violence is not core to your community services role but you still encounter people who experience and/or use family violence – this course is ideal for you.

You’ll learn to identify and respond to the risk of family violence. You’ll learn key skills required for screening, risk assessment, risk management, information sharing and referral.

Successful completion of this course, will prepare you to identify and provide the initial response to family violence and it provides a pathway to further training in the Community Services, Health and Early Childhood Education training packages.
