Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Risk
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is an accredited training program designed for people who are currently working or seeking work with universal service providers to identify the risk of family violence for service users. Universal service professionals do not assess or prevent risk of family violence primarily in their role, however they may encounter victim survivors and/or perpetrators of violence through their work and subsequently their role requires essential knowledge about the States legislated response to family violence.
This course is part of the Victorian State Governments family violence reform addressing the 227 recommendations from the Royal Commission into Family Violence. The curriculum within this course is informed by the outcomes of Recommendation 1 and 207.
