Control Security Risk Situations using Firearms
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)IN 4 Training provides firearm training specifically for the security industry. This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to determine when to use a firearm to respond to possible life-threatening situations. It requires the ability to analyse risk factors and intentions of persons and to maintain, operate and store firearms and ammunition in accordance with legislative requirements.
This unit will form part of the licensing and legal requirements for the use of firearms by persons working in the security industry in Qld where these are regulated activities.
