Control Persons using Baton

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This course provides participants with the skills for assessing a risk situation, responding to and manage a risk situation using batons and handcuffs as well as an in depth understanding of the legalities pertaining to the use of force. Weapon retention, weapon disarming, maintenance, storage and transport of restricted items is also covered.

The course is delivered through practical training, scenarios, role plays and group discussions. The instructors are industry professionals with extensive experience in the use of defensive weapons. This program is conducted through practical training, scenarios, role plays and group discussions.
