Construction Industry White Card
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This unit of competency specifies the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work. It requires you to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislation requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to yourself and others.
If you work on a construction site in Australia, then you need to complete an accredited General Construction Induction Training course (White Card).
Upon successful completion, you will be issued with a white card which you will present at site inductions. It’s proof that you’ve learnt how to work safely on a construction jobsite.
