It includes planning for lifting, preparing for lifting and moving loads. Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely attend to lifting operations. This course is a great course to compliment RIIVEH307D Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane & RIIVEH304D Conduct Slewing Crane Operations.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Have sufficient literacy and numeracy to read and comprehend instructions for safety at the workplace (Workplace Health & Safety requirement)
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Have sufficient physical strength and dexterity to do safety checks and basic maintenance and operate the forklift truck as required
