Conduct Belly Dump Truck Operations

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Learn how to work a belly dump truck – a haul truck that uses internal sloped walls to drop transported materials through the bottom into neat linear heaps called ‘windrows’.

Typically used in rural areas, or by anyone in civil construction, coal mining and extractive industries, these trucks give you the ability to control the speed and degree of gate opening so the materials can be best positioned for your needs.

We’ll teach you all the specific operating procedures and guidelines to follow so work is conducted safely and efficiently, as well as truck prep, maintenance and cleanup!

Our course is flexible in both duration and location so can be tailored to meet your experience level and training needs.
