The Certificate IV in Yoga Teaching is your first step towards becoming an outstanding yoga teacher. The 12-month program is divided into practical and theory sessions giving you all the tools to teach yoga competently and authentically. It reflects the role and skills needed to teach yoga at basic to intermediate level in a group setting or one-on-one situation. This course will provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills to instruct yoga classes and practices like pranayama, mindfulness, and meditation using yoga philosophical frameworks. They will be able to apply anatomy and physiology to yoga teaching promoting health, demonstrating sequencing skills, the progressive practice of postures, instructional techniques, and postural alignment, as well as current yoga business practices and professional standards and ethics.
