Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate in IV in Health Work and Safety BSB41419 will enable you to lead, manage and monitor safe work practices across healthcare settings. It can lead to employment as an occupational health and safety officer, OHS technician, WorkCover inspector, or a return-to-work co-ordinator. The ANMF (Vic Branch) Education Centre (RTO ID 22609) is delivering this course in conjunction with WorkSafe Victoria.
This course has been contextualised to reflect the healthcare working environment, preparing graduates for the demands of the sector. This qualification will provide the underpinning knowledge and skills required to manage and monitor safe work practices across healthcare settings. You’ll gain an understanding of the relevant legislation and you will be able to implement workplace strategies to meet and comply with legislative requirements within the workplace. On completion of this course you will have the knowledge and skills to identify hazards and perform risk assessment and risk control through workplace monitoring, this includes ongoing review and evaluation of control measures.
