Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This certificate is essential for people who wish to develop their skills in the design, delivery and assessment of vocation-based training. It also qualifies you to deliver nationally-accredited vocational training in TAFEs, private and enterprise-based registered training organisations as well as in secondary schools with vocational programs.
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) has national recognition as the entry-level qualification for those wanting to teach and assess in vocational education and training. Teachers and trainers in TAFEs and other registered training organisations must have this qualification, which is becoming increasingly called for in job descriptions for areas such as human resources or team leader roles, where staff development forms part of the role.
