Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)In this course you will develop a comprehensive understanding of how residential buildings are constructed and communicated through drawings and documentation.
You will learn how to communicate the design intent of a building designer to ensure that a construction project is successfully documented to achieve the desired outcome for the client.
You will develop the skills and knowledge required to understand how buildings are constructed, the materials used and the compliance framework buildings must be designed in accordance with.
The course also covers working in a building design environment, conducting inspections of sites before design work starting, and design of structural and services systems for residential buildings.
