This course is fully competency-based and while knowledge and some aspects of competency are assessed within the realms of each subject, completion of practical activities demonstrating all areas of competency will need to be completed to graduate. A part-time student would normally undertake a study load of 1-2 subjects at any one time. Individual subjects may be delivered on a twice-monthly basis, by intensives or by correspondence.

The course will train individuals in music performance, composition, and technical production in a Christian context. This course is normally delivered in a range of contemporary music genres such as pop, rock, gospel, folk, blues, and jazz.
