Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This nationally recognised qualification is suitable for Recreation Activity Officers and Lifestyle staff, Health care workers, AINs in Aged Care and Community Care. The training focuses on enhancing the well-being of residents and participants who require care through programs that extend beyond clinical care plans. Workers may be in residential facilities, community care settings and day centres, carrying out specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health.
On completion of the course students will have gained new skills and knowledge to design and facilitate leisure and recreation programs in a residential or community setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- LLN Robot levels – entry at ACSF Level 3 (core skills, reading, writing, listening, speaking, numeracy, digital literacy)
- Be of at least 18 years of age
- Have completed Year 12 or equivalent
- Must be an Existing Worker in Leisure and Health/Lifestyle, Aged Care, Disability Support and/or Community Care roles OR
- Be available to commence Work Placement early into the course
- Must not have a criminal conviction that will appear on the National Police Check
- An Immunisation certificate or Vaccination card may be requested
- Must have basic computing skills and access to a standard computer or laptop
- Driver Licence or Photo ID
- Green Medicare card or evidence of residency
- Unique Student Identifier

- NSW Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
