Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure, health activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Workers may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres, completing specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health. While workers are responsible for their own outputs, work is carried out under direct or indirect supervision within defined organisation guidelines.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
This course can be completed online at your own pace or through virtual classes. The duration of this course is 8-10 months depending on experience and chosen study mode.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Must be 18 years of aged at the time of enrolment
- All students are required to complete a Pre-training review prior to entry into the course. This will ensure that this course is the most appropriate course for you based on your goals and aspirations.
- You must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment prior to entry. This will demonstrate that you have the appropriate ACSF levels for entry into the course.
- You must have internet access, a computer and access to Microsoft Office
- You must have up to date vaccinations this will include immunisations for the flu, COVID-19 and Hepatitis A and B
- You must have a clear national police check and a current Working with Children Check at the time of placement
- NDIS Orientation Module - Under the NDIS code of Conduct, you are required to have completed the Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
- NDIS Workers Screening Check - From 1 February 2021, everyone who works for a Registered NDIS Provider – and some other workers – in ‘risk-assessed roles’ must have clearance to do so
