Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Certificate IV in Leisure and Health reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure, health activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Workers may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centers, completing specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health.
To achieve Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
The target learner’s entry requirements for this course must:
- be over 15 years of age, and no longer attending secondary school
- obtain security clearance*
- undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Skills Indicator
- ability to undertake vocational placement, which includes manual handling
- have technological skills to undertake computer/online work and have access to a computer and software with the following minimum specifications- Microsoft Windows XP, or later, or Mac OS X or above Microsoft Office or equivalent / Adobe Acrobat Reader / Adobe Flash Player / Up to date internet browser
