You will develop the specialised skills and knowledge needed to become an automation and control technician. With an increasing global appetite for automation systems in the manufacturing sector, demand for skilled tradespeople in this area is growing.
In this course you will learn how to assemble, set up, program, fault find, repair and maintain automated equipment and systems. You will also develop the ability to supervise plant maintenance programs and provide technical advice. Our experienced teachers will give you the one-on-one guidance you need to succeed.
Depending on your choice of electives, successful completion of this course may qualify you to work as an automation and control technician.
