Certificate IV in Fire Systems Compliance
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)11002NAT — Certificate IV in Fire Systems Compliance is a nationally accredited qualification designed to develop competencies to allow experienced Fire Protection technicians to be able to certify the initial installation, commissioning process, and ongoing maintenance of a variety of fire protection systems dependant on the streams chosen.
This course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to review relevant documentation and reports and identify the fire protection system’s compliance with Australian and international Legislation and Standards, Building Code of Australia requirements and manufacturer’s specifications, and to then provide advice or complete a report, including a certificate, which states the compliance or non-compliance of the fire protection system.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
It is recommended that students are able to demonstrate language, literacy, and numeracy skills equivalent to Level 3 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
