According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, the number of people working as welfare support workers is expected to grow strongly in the future. This large occupation is expected to create around 30,000 job openings over the next five years.
This certification covers a number of core skills such as using communication to develop relationships, facilitating family intervention strategies, identifying and responding to at-risk youth, and working with people with mental illness. Our experienced and highly-regarded teaching team will give you the one-on-one guidance and industry experience you need to succeed in the field.
Successful completion of the course will qualify you to work with young people and families in a number of different community settings as a relationship educator, family support worker or youth residential care worker.
