CHC40321 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention is suited to those who have a passion for working with at risk people in the community and reflects the role of those who work in youth and family intervention, including practice specialisations in family support. It qualifies individuals to provide services in relation to child protection and supervised access visits as well as personal care, maintenance and other activities for vulnerable children, young people and families.
Services may be provided within the family support context and residential and out of home care. Workers operate under a broad supervision framework and within clearly defined organisational guidelines, service plans and position specifications.
