Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

You can choose to specialise in residential and out of home care, family support and early intervention, with electives covering residential care, relationships, trauma, well-being and more.

Even better, you will put what you learn into practice through 120 hours of work placement because we know there is no better way to consolidate knowledge than through real industry experience.

Perhaps you will go on to work as a case support worker, a child or youth support worker or in family prevention. One thing is for sure: with the Australian Government expecting up to 50,000 new jobs in this sector within the next five years, your advanced skills will be highly valued.
