The purpose of the qualification is to meet the needs of Site Managers and Project Managers in the building and construction industry.

In this course you will learn to apply site surveys, set-out building and construction projects, arrange building applications and approvals, and develop effective teams.

Site Management is about managing the factors around construction, such as the deployment of crews with specialised skills (including builders), product compliance, deployment of contract specialised skills, weather and site location.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • You are 18 years or older
  • Construction experience is not necessary but may be an advantage
  • Have a laptop with Microsoft office programs (or equivalent) and internet access for the duration of the course
  • Can read, write and speak English competently
