Certificate IV in Auslan

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This course aims to develop Auslan language skills for communicating with a measure of fluency and ease within a broad range of contexts and with a range of Auslan users about a range of topics, including abstract matters. This includes engaging in everyday conversations, technical discussions and being able to share a viewpoint on a topical issue.

This course will also prepare you for further formal Auslan language study and is a part of the pathway towards Interpreter or Teacher of the Deaf training.
