Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialized tasks and functions in aged-care services in residential, home or community-based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organization guidelines and maintain quality through the development, facilitation and review of individualized service planning and service delivery.
Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organization and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of practical work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students must be aged 18 or above and have satisfactorily completed Australian Year 11 or an appropriate Certificate II qualification in related fields of study.
English proficiency requirement:
- IELTS overall score 5.5
- TOEFL (iBT) score of 46
- PTE (Pearson Test of English Academic) score of 45
