Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This qualification provides a trade outcome in wall and floor tiling for residential and commercial construction work. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as the specialist field of work, wall and floor tiling. Tilers work with materials like ceramic, glass, slate, marble and clay. They cut these materials and lay tiles on walls and floors, both interior and exterior. They may also add decorative touches to their basic work.State and territory jurisdictions may have different licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements. Relevant state and territory regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm those requirements.Delivery mode

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Academic Requirements:
- Minimum completion of Australian Year 12 secondary school education equivalent or above.
English Language Requirements:
- Academic IELTS 6.0 overall, no less than 5.5 in each band, or upper intermediate, or EAP from approved ELICOS/ESL centre.
Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.
Physical requirements:
- Participants of this course should have a good level of fitness to manage the physical demands of the job, including lifting boxes of tiles and adhesive bags, crouching, kneeling and bending to perform work.
