The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.The nationally accredited Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling equips you with the specialist skills to become a trade qualified tiler. You will be in-demand as you learn to transform spaces in industrial, commercial and residential settings and manage tiling projects from plan to delivery.

You will learn how to interpret plans and specifications, use tiling tools and equipment, and carry out residential and commercial construction work. Get your hands dirty and prepare for work – do you have what it takes?

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

For the operations stream, a candidate must:

  • be aged 18 years or over
  • be an existing worker in a plumbing or plumbing services supervision role
  • have the support of their supervisor and employer
  • hold a minimum of a Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
  • able to commit to the course duration and time commitment
  • Have already attained a “Whitecard”
  • Satisfactorily completed our Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment
  • Have a completed workplace support agreement, which confirms the resources required for training and assessment will be made available to the student.
