Certificate III in Sterilisation Services

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to work in a Hospital Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) or Theatre Sterile Supply Unit (TSSU). You will learn about infection control policies and procedures, and safe occupational health practices. You will learn skills to clean and disinfect re-usable medical devices and equipment and care for surgical instruments. You may also learn how to work with sterile stock and equipment, develop effective working habits and relationships, work with culturally diverse clients and co-workers, and use business technology.
