Certificate III in School Based Education Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Help students go from surviving to thriving by providing personalised support in the classroom. Learning Support Officers (also known as a Teacher’s Aides) assist students with additional needs to effectively participate in learning and get the most out of their schooling.
This nationally recognised qualification provides a great pathway into a career in education. With expert trainers and 100+ hours of in-school work placement, this course is designed to ensure graduates are skilled, confident and job-ready.
Topics include working collaboratively with teachers and students, contributing to planning and implementation of education programs, supporting the development of language, literacy and numeracy and assisting students with additional needs.

Community College Gippsland (CCG) has more than 40 years of history of community-based adult and vocational education and training in Gippsland and southeast Melbourne.
We are a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and a Registered Charity.
We deliver accredited courses from Certificate I through to Diploma across a wide range of curriculum areas.
