Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification provides a trade outcome in roof tiling for residential and commercial construction work. This qualification may be accessed by direct entry. This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship.
The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.
The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.

Through its Group Training Operations, MMTC Ltd works with employers and job seekers to identify and fill suitable Apprenticeship/Traineeship opportunities. Under this system the Apprentices/Trainees are employed by MMTC Ltd and on-hired to suitable Host Employers who are able to provide high quality work experience and training.
