Certificate III in Production Horticulture

Break ground on your horticulture career with this entry-level course. This qualification will enable you to work as a vegetable grower, production nursery tradesperson, or orchard farmhand grower.

You'll develop essential skills including how to carry out enterprise work health and safety policies to comply with workplace procedures and other relevant legislation and codes. You'll also learn how to apply biosecurity measures, coordinate horticultural crop harvesting, and safely prepare and apply chemicals for pest and weed control.

Successful completion of this qualification will enable you to seek work in a variety of production horticulture settings including tree cropping, vegetable or berry production, grape growing or mushroom production.
