Certificate III in Plumbing

Progress your career in the plumbing industry with this entry-level qualification. By completing this qualification you can become a qualified and licensed plumber. According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, plumbing is a skill in demand with employers finding it hard to fill vacancies for qualified plumbers. The industry grew strongly over the past five years and is expected to continue to expand with around 29,000 job openings anticipated over the next five years.

Learn how to provide a full range of plumbing services in water, sanitation, drainage, irrigation, roofing, fire and gas services. You will master skills in installing pipe work, testing and maintaining pipes, fixtures, gas regulators, installing pumps, gas appliances, water tanks, water heaters and water heating systems. Using industry-standard equipment and with the proven expertise of our teachers you will earn a highly-respected qualification through TAFE Queensland.

Successful completion of this course as part of your apprenticeship will allow you to apply to become a licensed plumber in Queensland.
