Certificate III in Painting & Decorating
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course provides you with hands-on skills and knowledge that enable you to carry out a wide range of tasks in the painting and decorating industry.
You will learn practical skills such as preparing surfaces, applying paint by brushes, rollers and spray guns, hanging wallpaper, and creating feature walls. Moreover, you will learn useful theoretical knowledge, including occupational health and safety requirements, and how to write quotations so you are well prepared to enter the workplace with confidence.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- be aged 18 years or over
- have the support of their supervisor and employer
- hold a minimum of a Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
- able to commit to the course duration and time commitment
- Have already attained a “Whitecard”
- Satisfactorily completed our Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment
- Have a completed workplace support agreement, which confirms the resources required for training and assessment will be made available to the student.
