This qualification provides you with the required skills and knowledge to work as a boat builder and repairer in the marine craft construction industry.

The skills associated with this qualification are intended to apply to a wide range of marine craft construction work, including undertaking manufacturing and repairs of boats in fibre-reinforced plastics, timber and metal and marine/boat yard operations, fitting out of internal and external components of vessels and installation of engineering drive systems.
