The SHB30221 Certificate III in Make-Up is the key into the freelance make-up world. As well as the exciting outcomes of runway and photographic, you’ll also cover elements of lighting, tattoo/bruise cover, make-up for high-definition camera, airbrush (including tanning) and creative editorial looks. This qualification reflects the role of individuals employed as make-up artists to design and apply make-up for a range of purposes and occasions across the beauty, fashion, media and entertainment industries.

Employment outcomes may include running your own freelance business, working in a salon/spa, magazines/news publications and the beauty industry.

This hands-on, client-based course is designed to get you familiar with the day-to-day operations of working on a make-up counter, specialist make-up store and beauty salons.

This course may be of interest to ‘vloggers’ wanting to take the next step with their make-up tutorials and really increase viewer numbers! This course also includes industry beauty units giving the student variation in job roles.
