Locksmithing, or security technology, is a specialised trade with steady demand for workers. Increased use of technology in this area means employers are looking for workers who are up-to-date with current methods, tools and equipment.

This apprenticeship program will provide you with a comprehensive skill base for the repair, manufacture and installation of locking and security systems. You’ll learn how to perform computations and engineering measurements, interpret technical drawings, and use a range of hand tools for a variety of general engineering applications. Our industry-expert teachers will ensure you have the most up-to-date technical knowledge with the quality of skills sought after by employers.

Successful completion of this course allows you to become a trade qualified locksmith in a range of domestic, automotive or industrial settings.
