Do you enjoy working outdoors? Do you want to gain the skills to construct landscaping projects and renew and maintain existing gardens? This Certificate III is a pathway qualification and will prepare you to undertake jobs in this sector.
This hands on, practical course covers a broad range of skills and knowledge such as installing drainage, constructing paving, decks, pergolas and retaining wall and fences, in addition to providing information on plants and costing out projects.
Landscapers work across commercial, residential construction and grounds maintenance and as green keeper and parks and gardens managers. Residential, commercial and civil environments require landscape construction workers.
Broaden your experience again by gaining complimentary qualifications in civil plant operation and earth moving equipment. This qualification is also a genuine base trade to becoming a fully qualified builder.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- be committed to pursue a career in the landscape construction industry
- be aged 16 years or over
- hold a minimum of a Year 10 School education (or equivalent)
- have a level of physical fitness to be able to handle landscape construction tools, equipment and materials, work outside for long periods of time
- be able to commit to the course duration and time commitment (including extra course duration if required)
