Certificate III in Individual Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support will qualify students to work in aged care facilities, the community and supported residential services. Aged Care facilities include private, public, retirement villages, nursing homes and hostels. Workers report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers.

Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A proficient level of English is required, however your English level will be assessed on application.
Should be 18 years old or above
The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
Be physically capable to undertake manual and the physical tasks required in this role including manual handling using equipment in an aged care setting.
Have the ability to communicate sensitively with a wide background of people
have personal attributes necessary including punctuality, personal hygiene and good presentation.
If you are undertaking HLTAID011 - PROVIDE FIRST AID training with us, please advise staff prior if you have problems with your back and knees or general mobility. First aid will require you to participate in physical activity which may aggregate existing injuries.
