Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) is Australia’s latest disability training course. It is ideal for those who want to develop their career in the disability care industry by gaining the latest nationally accredited qualification for care givers and support workers. You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the disability support industry, caring, enabling them to maintain independence, understanding and supporting people with disabilities.
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan for provision of person-centred care to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Workers are being required to increasingly support people in their homes, support people with increasingly complex needs, to tailor care and support approaches to meet individual needs with increased ‘client’ choice.
