Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)

This course is the entry point of the Community Services stream of courses and prepares the students to have knowledge and skills for working in community or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who require support due to ageing, disability or other reasons. This course provides pathways for further learning at Certificate IV or Diploma level.

Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person centred support. Candidates must have completed at least 120 hours work as in addition to face-to-face training.
