Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability and Ageing)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work Involves using discretion and judgment in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support. In order to undertake your practical placement and secure employment in the future you are required to obtain a current clear Victorian Police Check and Working with Children Check card. If you have any concerns please speak to our friendly staff.

On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

About Bellarine Training and Community Hub
We were established in 2006 and we provide nationally recognised training throughout Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surfcoast, from Certificate III to Diploma level courses. We are a high quality training organisation, with a high employment rate on completion of courses. We offer placement coordination, small class sizes and expert trainers. Training is provided with Victorian Government funding. Those seeking funded places must meet the funding criteria to be eligible.
