Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support has been designed for those who intend to work in Aged Care (residential and community) who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centered care to people who may require support due to ageing or disability.
This course will train students, to look after an older person’s care needs, support their individual health and wellbeing, follow safety procedures for direct care work and work effectively with the elderly. This course will provide the necessary foundations to embark on a care- giving career.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- National Police Check – on commencement of this course all candidates are required to complete /have a current National Police Check within 6 months.
- Immunisation Evidence – Students are required to provide current immunisation evidence prior to enrolment, i.e. influenza and COVID-19 vaccination in line with current Government Health Department guidelines.
- Course applicants must complete a Literacy, Numeracy (LLN Robot) test to ensure the required language, literacy and numeracy levels are met for the course.
- Pre-training interview with education staff required prior to enrolment.
